Somewhere In The Middle
Today is the 6th day of the week, and tomorrow is the 7th day of this week, which is the Sabbath. So I say to you Shabbat Shalom, or the peace of Sabbath to you.
I'm going to keep this one short today as I'm a little pressed for time. I'm going to refer you to read some studies that are important to gain more understanding.
Now to continue, during the later '90's I had gotten my hands on some information by doing some research on the internet, and getting some free booklets mailed to me, that described where the Sabbath had been replaced by Sunday worship. I won't get into a long dissertation here, as you can find out for yourself what happened. There's so many sites and historical facts. NOTE: do be careful who's historical facts you're reading about, because those that conquer, write about themselves in the best light! It's best to have a witness of 2 or 3 before settling on a matter, and that my friend is Scriptural!
So if you're ready to take the Red Pill and find out what's in this Matrix, then read on and prove what I'm about to say:
Anyway, there was just no denying something very dark had happened long ago way back in the 4th century by none other than by the man named Constantine! Everything I had always heard and read about him was put into the best of light. Well, hhere's one study of many that you can read for yourself to get a handle on this: http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/sbs777/saccal/sunday.html This will show you what is truly meant in Acts 20:7 and other references regarding "...on the first day of the week...". Another great study you can read after this is: http://seethesound.net/ANTSYHWH/Teachings/041030_Shabbat2p.pdf which will get you into a deeper study of what the Sabbath or Shabbat is all about, it's really awesome to learn such things!
I hope you will read these two studies, then go explore and learn some more for yourself. Until next time then...
May Yahweh Bless You and Guard You,
John

Since the calendar isn't the same and that there are differences in the ways that we make our records in today you are not dealing with black and white as you might see it. God rested one out of seven days on the seventh day and that was to be a model for us ; to rest on one day out of seven. the fact that legally it is the FIRST day of the week doesn't change the fact that you are choosing to rest after six days of no sabbath and then on the seventh there is sabbath. The truth of the matter is that these works are nothing compared to the power of the cross, and that salvation is what is important. That is why you are called to preach to the world of his coming. Because the focus of the present is that there is a limited amount of time before he returns and we must help bring as many to Christ or The "messiah" or whatever name your language recognizes as his name. That Name- because of its derivation in our language and because it has been recognized by the culture as his name is Holy because of what it means-who it is referring to- if henry is Enrique in Spanish or something completely different does it change the fact of who you are talking to> or about? if I Pray to the God of Abraham and in the original language (languages will always be limited to the persons ability to communicate ideals) it is something esle does it change the fact that I was talking to him.
This is an age of Grace and of the heart over legality. Remember God (or the Father) or the one God to which you are able to identify in this language wants us to give with a pure heart and praise him with a pure heart. He cares more about the condition by which you choose do things than the legalistic ways of the pharisees as Jesus talked about. He talked about how they would use the laws and the technicalities or legalities which weren't relevant to praise their own pride. The message He conveyed was that The condition of the heart was important over the knowledge of specific technicalities.
I appreciate your taking the time to read my blog and to write back David. I have answered you back in the form of breaking down each of your concerns and then writing my responses to those after marked with [JG]. Sorry for the length but facts are required. While you have stated about 10 points, it's important to back what you say with Scripture. Saying or repeating what someone else has said doesn't make it so, no matter how many people repeat and believe it. Keep this in mind when you make arguments regarding the Word of Yahweh. It would be easier to respond to you in the future through emails, if you have more questions/comments. You can email me at: info@seethesound.net initially. I'll then reply back to you with a personal email address.
1) Since the calendar isn't the same and that there are differences in the ways that we make our records in today you are not dealing with black and white as you might see it. [JG] The question is then, if your Creator tells you how to keep His calendar for days, months, and years, along with His appointed feast days, (see Genesis 1:14-15) it's His reckoning of time. But then a person(s) creates their own, so what is this? Nothing more than what happened in the Garden with Adam and Havvah (Eve), stating I'm going to do it my way instead. This is known as rebellion. Rebelling and continuing to do so doesn't ever make it right. What does Yahweh say regarding rebellion? 1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as the sin of divination (witchcraft), and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of Yahweh, He also does reject you as sovereign." The next question to ask is what is the present day calendar based on? It's pagan sun worship. You can find out more on the calendars on my blog page index no.15 titled "Pesach-Passover - 3 Days And 3 Nights" if you so choose.
2) God rested one out of seven days on the seventh day and that was to be a model for us ; to rest on one day out of seven. [JG] Question: Do you keep the 10 commandments? Most think they do. So let's go through them and see who keeps what...
Exodus 20:3-17
1st Command. (3) “You have no other mighty ones against My face.
[JG]We’re not to worship anything other than Him. Doing so is putting it in His face.
2nd Command. (4) “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth,
(5) you do not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, Yahweh your Elohim am a jealous Ěl, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
(6) but showing kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.
[JG]We’re to abstain from creating or using any sort of image that we can possibly come up with. Hmmm…how many people bow before crosses and/or pictures to pray? They Use crosses to symbolize their belief. Only do they know that the cross was something used in worship for sol invictus mithra or pagan sun worship. The cross was the symbol the Romans used to worship the sun that was done in Babylon as well. They sacrificed people on them to honor mithra. There’s much more on this subject. And yes, Yahshua was put on one as well, but we’re not to use it as a part of our worship to Yahweh / Yahshua. Doing so goes against this command.
3rd Command. (7) “You do not bring the Name of Yahweh your Elohim to naught, for Yahweh does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.
[JG]This means for us to keep from desolating His Name. We are to revere and use His Name. Exodus 3:15 states this: (15) And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Aḇraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.’
[JG] How long is forever? Nothing short of eternity last I checked.
4th Command. (8) “Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart.
(9) “Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,(10) but the seventh day is a Sabbath of Yahweh your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.(11) “For in six days Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahweh blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.
[JG]Yahweh clearly spells out all these commands, and His set apart day is literally the seventh day, not any day we choose.
Exodus 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, Yahweh, am setting you apart.
[JG]We are identified as His with His Sabbath. It’s a sign or a seal, a mark if you will. Hmmm…ever think about the mark of the beast in the forehead and on the hand regarding the anti-messiah, could this be Sunday? What you think and what you do is in the forehead and your hand. Satan is the father of lies, and he counterfeits everything he can of Yahweh’s.
Exodus 31:16 ‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.
[JG]Throughout their generations, means so long as the children of Yisrael are around, and they / we still are.
I noticed I had a broken link and have fixed it on the page you wrote your comment on. It’s a teaching regarding the Sabbath, which I hope you will read: http://www.hearoisrael.org/uploads/Shabbat.pdf This way I don’t have to reinvent the wheel here. But Yahweh setting the Sabbath is literally the seventh day, He Himself kept it, and His Torah which means “teaching” not “law” by the way is something for us to learn and to be instructed upon. We do these things why? Because we love Him. Yahshua said:
(John 14:15) “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.
[JG] So what are His commands? Where can they be found? In the New Testament? Oh wait it hadn’t been written yet, so where else? In the Torah, the 1st 5 books, Genesis – Exodus – Leviticus - Numbers – Deuteronomy which He said in Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to DESTROY the TORAH or the Prophets. I did not come to DESTROY but to complete.
(Matthew 5:18) “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
[JG]Last I checked Heaven and earth are still here. Stomp your foot and look upward, so it’s not been done away with what so ever.
(Matthew 5:19) “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.
[JG]To do otherwise and teach others to break His commands is clearly going to be very unhealthy.
So if those are His commands, then He must also be Yahweh! If He’s the living Word / Torah, then to do away with the Written Torah is to do away with Yahshua! Now that makes no sense to do so.
5th Command. (12) “Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which Yahweh your Elohim is giving you.
6th Command. (13) “You do not murder.
7th Command. (14) “You do not commit adultery.
8th Command. (15) “You do not steal.
9th Command. (16) “You do not bear false witness against your neighbour.
10th Command. (17) “You do not covet your neighbour’s house, you do not covet your neighbour’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbour.”
Most people will regard all the commands except for 2,3, & 4. Show me in Scripture that these aren’t to be kept but all the rest are. Or maybe all of them have been done away with as so many people believe, stating it’s all legalism that’s been done away with. If so, then freely go murder, steal, rape and pillage because you’re “under grace” and aren’t accountable for your actions. That’s ludicrous for us to pick and choose what we are and aren’t going to keep when there’s no basis for it, other than preached rhetoric, purposely mistranslated and misunderstood verses, and taking things out of context.
3) the fact that legally it is the FIRST day of the week doesn't change the fact that you are choosing to rest after six days of no sabbath and then on the seventh there is sabbath.[JG] Back what you say with Scripture. This is nothing but repeated rhetoric for centuries. “A lie told often enough becomes truth” quoted from Vladimir Lenin.
4) The truth of the matter is that these works are nothing compared to the power of the cross, and that salvation is what is important. [JG] Where is your Scriptural backing? (James 2:18) But someone might say, "You have belief, and I have works." Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works... (Revelation 14:12) Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the COMMANDS of Elohim AND the BELIEF of Yahshua.
Taken from my blog page #16 "The Sh'ma" http://andnowthussaidyahweh.blogspot.com/2007/05/shma.html "...Okay, so when folks refer to "The Sh'ma", the meaning taken is to "Hear" and "Obey". ...Now what we've been taught through churchianity is that we just have to "Hear" and therefore just "believe". This is the Greek way of thinking. But Yahweh didn't raise up a people to Himself and call them Greek'el, did He! No, He gave the name Yisra'el, and that's who we are to join if we want to worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH. What we've been misled is that we don't have to "Obey" and therefore "do". "Do" what you say? That's a great question! We're to do His Mitsvot, His commands, His Written Torah!"
5) That is why you are called to preach to the world of his coming. Because the focus of the present is that there is a limited amount of time before he returns and we must help bring as many to Christ or The "messiah" or whatever name your language recognizes as his name. [JG] Yes we are to share the coming of His Kingdom, His reign, His rule, what He did for us. As for my "language" as you put it, people want to stay away from anything resembling Hebrew. They changed His name, they changed who He is, changed His Word to fit their wants and desires, and state: “Well, I don’t speak Hebrew”. To which I answer, “Do you speak Greek? Babylonian? German? French? Then why use their words but balk at using Hebrew?” If you have ever uttered the word Halleluyah or Immanuel then you are speaking Hebrew. Here's a few more: Abacus, Armageddon, Cherub, Cider, Eden, Jezebel, Jubilee, Manna, Pharaoh, Pita, Sodomy,... So using another Hebrew word isn’t such a stretch. I realize that habits are hard to break, but consider the following verse:
Exodus 23:13 “And in all that I have said to you take heed. And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth.
[JG]Your point of a name seems to be mistaken as what you listed are titles and not names. Titles refer to function, a name is what someone calls themselves and is recognized by it.
7) That Name- because of its derivation in our language and because it has been recognized by the culture as his name is Holy because of what it means-who it is referring to- if henry is Enrique in Spanish or something completely different does it change the fact of who you are talking to> or about? if I Pray to the God of Abraham and in the original language (languages will always be limited to the persons ability to communicate ideals) it is something esle does it change the fact that I was talking to him. [JG] Again languages borrow words from others, and the English language is no exception and I've answered this in the last point. Rather than responding here regarding "That Name" which I believe you are referring to is "God", then please read from the following for my answer: blog page #17 "Time to Shake Your Tree" http://andnowthussaidyahweh.blogspot.com/2007/08/time-to-shake-your-tree.html
8) This is an age of Grace and of the heart over legality. Remember God (or the Father) or the one God to which you are able to identify in this language wants us to give with a pure heart and praise him with a pure heart.[JG] "Age of Grace", where do you get this from in Scripture? In the TaNaK there's 241 verses using Yahweh's grace. This statement "Age of Grace" comes from the false teaching of dispensationalism, that Israel has been replaced, which is so far from the truth. Yes we again receive more of Yahweh's grace through Yahshua redeeming us. But there's a whole story of "The House of Israel" being divorced that the world is only now coming to realize, in what Yahshua came for. See blog page #09 2002-2003 The truth's out there somewhere... http://andnowthussaidyahweh.blogspot.com/2007/01/2002-2003-truths-out-there-somewhere.html to gain a better understanding.
9) He cares more about the condition by which you choose do things than the legalistic ways of the pharisees as Jesus talked about. [JG] What are those legalistic ways of the Pharisees? It's known as Oral Torah, which includes the Talmud and other false teachings that Yahudah came up with during and after Babylon. Expressly the Babylonian Talmud is one of these. Here's a web page that will give you a better picture of who the Pharisees really were, and are today: http://torahofmessiah.com/cmbias.htm While I don't agree with everything this person says, his points regarding "oral torah" are valid. Here's another one, and this man I know and deeply respect, Avi ben Mordechai who lives in Israel, and will be on tour here soon next month. This article will tell you even more: http://www.m7000.com/articles/Rabbi.pdf
[JG] 10) He talked about how they would use the laws and the technicalities or legalities which weren't relevant to praise their own pride. The message He conveyed was that The condition of the heart was important over the knowledge of specific technicalities. [JG] I leave you with these verses, and yes it is the condition of the heart I agree, and that is to hear and do His TRUTH:
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
(10) and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the TRUTH, in order for them to be saved.
[JG] Psalms 119:142 states this as to what TRUTH is: Psalms 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your TORAH is TRUTH.
(11) And for this reason Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood,
(12) in order that all should be judged who did not believe the TRUTH, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.
Be Blessed,
John
